Business Surveillance Systems

Most businesses have security systems, but if you don't, then you are taking unnecessary risks. Protect yourself with a video surveillance system. Modern systems consist of one computer which can handle up to 12 camera inputs with the capability of remote viewing and management. This means that you, the business owner can go on a trip to some island, and as long as you have internet access, you can securely view day to day operations within your business or organization. Some systems even have POS interfaces so that while you are viewing a cash register transaction, you can actually get the numbers right on the screen, in real time! While the majority of people do not need so much, you should still consider even a simple system. Using basic systems, you can benefit from some of the following:

1) Your video surveillance system can email, call, or otherwise alert you in the event an alarm has been activated.

2) The system will record in real time, the event that is happening. You could also have it record constantly. Even with the constant recording, are able to store the video data into the DVR (Digital Video Recorder) for months before it gets 'overwritten'. This alleviates multiple VCRs and shelves of videotapes that have to be exchanged regularly.

3) MUCH greater picture quality. When we watch the evening news of a convenience store or even a bank robbery, we see these grainy and blurry photos of an alleged criminal. A DVR provides far superior image quality (compared to old VHS tapes) when it is recording.

4) Remote viewing. Anywhere that has an internet connection can allow you to see what is going on, review past events, and otherwise allow you to see what your employees are up to at any time.
